In the second season, after graduating from college, Doel again imagines the difficulty of finding a job. He is accepted at several companies but is then prohibited by Sabeni after finding out that Doel has to work outside Jakarta. However, Doel is not discouraged, especially after befriending Sarah, who is now said to have feelings for him. On the other hand, Doel also meets Zainab, his childhood friend who is said to have been matched with Doel since she was little. At the end of this season, Sarah invites Doel and his family on vacation to Anyer.
